18-21 June 2017

With the support of Outset and Arts Council England, I’ll be visiting Kassel and Munster to attend documenta 14. It’s definitely the year of the big art events.

I will be curating a performance programme in Venice, in response to the Diaspora Pavillion. This one-day event is presented in collaboration with Something Human and the International Curators Forum. More details to come.

4-5 April 2017

In April, I’ll be travelling to Seoul, Korea to attend the conference, Territories Disrupted: Asian art after 1989 at MMCA, with the support of a travel fellowship offered by Tate Research Centre: Asia. The line-up for the conference looks really interesting and having not visited Korea before, it’ll be an opportunity to check out the art scene. Plus, it’s sakura season!

I’m excited to have been selected via an open call as one of the curators for the International Curators Forum’s programme, Beyond the Frame. It’s a 22-month programme of development and the opportunity to travel to major conferences and art events. Beyond the Frame is supported by Arts Council England’s Elevate Fund and presented in partnership with the University of the Arts London, New Art Exchange, InIVA and Liverpool Biennial.

International Curators Forum (ICF) is a network that meets to discuss emerging issues of curatorial practice in the context of key events in the international arts calendar. It offers bursaries and professional development opportunities to curators and works in partnership with key national and international bodies. This program has been conceived to promote opportunities for curators to visit and participate in several major international art events to enable them to network and gain experience for their career development.
